Here’s how the Agua Negra Tunnel will connect San Juan with Chile through the Andes
The Agua Negra Tunnel is an ambitious project aimed at connecting San Juan, Argentina, with Coquimbo, Chile, through the Andes. This tunnel would enhance commercial exchange and connectivity in the region, overcoming the limitations of the existing Agua Negra International Pass. The construction will employ advanced technology, such as TBM tunnel boring machines, to tackle the geological challenges of high-altitude terrain.
