The national government moves forward with the privatization of the San Martín and Belgrano thermal power plants
The Argentine National Government has issued decree 1107/2026, advancing the privatization of the San Martín and Belgrano thermal power plants, currently controlled by the state through ENARSA. This decree also allows for the privatization of the Guillermo Brown thermal power plant, aiming to reduce state involvement in energy management and hand over administration to the private sector.
