Argentina remains at the highest level in the international report on human trafficking
Argentina has once again been classified in Tier 1 of the 2026 Trafficking in Persons Report by the U.S. Department of State, indicating compliance with international standards. The report highlights advancements in prosecutions of traffickers and the establishment of new investigative structures. Furthermore, the government continues to work on strengthening the fight against trafficking and protecting victims.
