Federal Judge Loretta Preska has formally annulled the USD 16.1 billion judgment against Argentina for the expropriation of YPF, following a ruling from the Second Circuit Court of Appeals. This decision is seen as a judicial victory for the government of Javier Milei, removing one of the significant economic threats arising from the Kirchner administration. However, the plaintiffs may still seek Supreme Court review of the Appeals Court's decision.
