The government exchanged 73% of a bond maturing at the end of the month, avoiding extra pressure on the dollar
The Argentine government executed a debt swap, restructuring 72.85% of a D30N6 note in pesos, which will help avoid additional pressure on the exchange rate by the end of the month. This swap postpones the payment obligations, reducing the total maturity to $10.66 trillion. This operation is part of a series of restructurings implemented by Javier Milei's administration throughout the year, particularly related to instruments issued before the last elections.
