SENASA eliminates more than 40 obsolete regulations to simplify phytosanitary regulation
The Argentine government, through the National Service of Agri-Food Health and Quality (SENASA), has repealed over 40 obsolete regulations related to plant health in order to simplify the regulatory framework for the sector. This measure aims to consolidate a clearer and more accessible legal framework for agri-food producers, part of a broader deregulation effort. Deregulation Minister Federico Sturzenegger stated that eliminating these norms will reduce risks and administrative costs without affecting sanitary standards.
