Central Bank REM: The price of inflation and the dollar by 45 market actors
The Market Expectations Survey (REM) from the Central Bank, published on November 5, indicates that analysts have adjusted their forecasts for the dollar toward a slower depreciation, while raising their inflation expectations. By the end of 2026, annual inflation is predicted to reach 30.4%, and economic growth has been revised downward, projecting a GDP increase of only 0.7%. These data suggest that while a deceleration in the peso's devaluation is expected, inflation could remain resistant to decline in the short term.
