BCRA resumes reserve purchases after two days without intervention and lowers official dollar
The Central Bank of Argentina (BCRA) has resumed its reserves purchases by acquiring 9 million dollars after two days without intervening in the currency market. This increase adds to the 15.974 billion dollars acquired since January, while gross reserves reached 50.435 billion dollars. However, the country risk rose by 2.5%, now at 852 basis points, due to national political and economic uncertainties and the international context following the U.S. elections.
